Masters Men Record - Oven Door Masters

Ted Thull put together a dream team of Oven Door  masters and took over 36 minutes off their 2004 record.  The team would have been considerably closer to the White & Clark Open Men record (5:21:46) had it not been for the Leg 1 Detour.  The extra 150 feet of climbing and descending appeared to add least 3 minutes to Leg 1 times.

! Ted Thull is now the "Bopple Biggie."  His leg 3 time is a new record and he is the first runner to go sub-7 pace on that leg.
! Dennis VanKerkhove also set a new record for leg 8 with the climb to Town Line Road.  Very nice.
* Vincent Luongo, Steve VanKerkhove, Mark Harrison and Ted Thull get credited with the records for legs 5, 7, 9 and 10.  These legs substantially changed this year so comparisons with prior races are not valid.
